Armed with a keen interest in Analytics, Ajai was first exposed to the field during his stint at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in India where he was involved in IT projects related to credit cards frauds. His search for a programme to upgrade himself after 4 years of work led him to SMU.
The SMU MITB programme led him to intern at DBS Bank as part of an industry attachment. During the internship, he was involved in a Branch Risk Profiling Project for the Audit department and found that a great part of what he studied during the various modules was directly applicable to his work at DBS Bank. The DBS management was so impressed with the model that he developed for the Bank that after further validation, they deployed it and also converted his internship into a full-time role at the Bank.
