With the ever-changing landscape towards digitalisation and Singapore’s movement towards a smart nation city, I decided to reskill and pursue my postgraduate studies with SMU’s MITB Artificial Intelligence (AI) programme. MITB has provided me with the fundamental skills and concepts in AI and Machine Learning (ML), so I could move on to grasp the advanced concepts and dive deeper into state-of-the-art algorithms and models. The programme has not only allowed me to gain insights from the AI and ML realm, but also important concepts in Data Engineering, Analytics and implementation in specific areas such as Text Analytics. The professors, instructors and international classmates have made MITB a rewarding and fulfilling journey. The programme has also trained us to be more confident, enabling us to formulate business cases and implement AI solutions to real-world problems.
