I am currently working in Government of Investment Corporation as an industry attachment trainee for six months from May'12 to Nov'12. To be more specific, I work in the Real Estate division of GIC.
It's been two months since I started working at GIC which I feel is an informative and enjoyable journey so far. Every day is very enlightening and elucidative for me since I learn the genesis and application of real estate domain.
The transition from a software industry to an investment firm is quite smooth for me. The work environment in here is very pleasant and my colleagues are very helpful in making me understand the nuances of real estate industry. I feel that this transition into a financial sector is going to be revolutionary change by opening new vistas in my career.
I feel that I am one of the privileged students to get an opportunity to work in a global investment organization. Finally, I would be failing in my duty if I don't thank MITB and my supervisor at GIC for providing me an opportunity to work in a wondrous company.
