Biography
My work is to study, analyze and model customer behavior in relation to their interaction to various reward mechanisms programs that they are exposed to participating and their consequent impact on overall portfolio behaviour. In my study, I also recommended how these programs could be further enhanced for better customer experience and engagement.
This is my first exposure to the banking industry. Through my internship, I have learnt first-hand about how technology is a vital lifeline for the banking industry, the implications of its malfunction, the virtues of its advancement in providing a competitive edge.
I am highly thankful to my supervisor Mr. Rakesh Menon, Head retail analytics team for providing me with needful guidance and exposure to learn and implement knowledge effectively. It has been an eye-opener and I strongly encourage fellow students to take up similar industry attachments.
NOTE: This opportunity is made possible through a collaboration with LARC (Living Analytics Research Centre http://www.larc.smu.edu.sg) and the Master of IT in Business (Financial Services). Priyanka has completed her industry attachment and will join Citibank as an Analyst in July 2012
