When I was transitioning to data science with my business and consulting background, I tried many Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and specialisation courses that taught me a great deal, but they were not enough to really help me break through the noise.
The MITB Artificial Intelligence (AI) programme offered me what I was not able to get from a MOOC: a deep understanding of machine learning as well as other AI-based systems and methods; a diverse cohort of driven batchmates; and faculty who do their best to be available for students even during the disruptions that COVID-19 has imposed.
The programme also provided me with the flexibility to adjust my internship component such that I could take an additional course in exchange for a shorter internship. I am tremendously happy with the challenge and rigour of the programme, and I would encourage any interested candidate to consider MITB as a stepping stone towards his/her AI-related role!
