Yes, I made the choice to embark on a 2-year MITB (Analytics) programme as a part-time postgraduate student. MITB offers courses that expose me to various core analytics paradigm such as Data Analytics Lab, Machine Learning, Text Mining, Customer Analytics, Digital Payments & Fraud Analytics, etc. Course contents are closely linked to real-world business scenarios. What’s more interesting is that professors bring their valuable industry experience to seminar discussions, and our assignments/projects are designed to sharpen the analytical skills that challenge us to think out of the box. MITB has played a significant role in allowing me to further enhance my data science skills.
If you are considering to broaden your horizon at SMU MITB and possess the skills mentioned above, go for it. Have the courage to try and be brave enough to make and learn from mistakes. All the best!
