It is not easy to get into the groove of school once you have started work—however after my journey with MITB, I have come to realise that this arduous journey is something I never regretted taking up. The MITB curriculum is well designed to cover a good range of analytics in practice, which is highly demanded in various industries right now. The skills learnt from MITB are relevant and getting increasingly valued by companies. I would encourage all MITB students to focus on the practical aspect of the courses and be well-versed in software or programming tools as much as possible. This is also the key to get employed and value-add to a company. Leveraging on the resourceful Career Services Team in SMU is important if you are embarking on a new career, and I am grateful to them in connecting me with my current employer.
