I am Raunak Kapur, currently working as a Data Analyst Consultant at IQVIA Singapore. My journey began with a bachelor’s degree in technology from Delhi Technological University, followed by a tenure as a Technology Analyst in India before embarking on my new chapter in Singapore.
Driven by the infinite possibilities of Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, I sought to elevate my skills and stay abreast of technological advancements. I was drawn to the SMU Masters in IT Business (MITB) Analytics programme for its comprehensive curriculum.
Enrolling in the MITB programme proved instrumental in honing both my technical prowess and soft skills. Working on real-world problem statements faced by industries in Singapore with my professors and classmates challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and explore new horizons. I also clinched a rewarding internship at UOB as a Core Banking Intern, where I delved into the intricacies of data management and compliance policies. Understanding the underlying data architecture and technology involved in data processing and transformation was a valuable experience.
For those aspiring to make a significant impact in the realm of data analytics and data science, MITB serves as the perfect launch pad. It provides a platform to refine oneself professionally, with ample guidance from our esteemed professors and opportunities to forge lasting connections.
