The proliferation of IT in process management and algorithm systems has placed the spotlight on acquiring the relevant skill sets in this field. After comparing several programmes from renowned institutions globally like UCLA and NUS, Tang Du chose the SMU MITB because of its comprehensive curriculum, internship opportunities, and the fact that it did not disqualify those who did not have prior IT knowledge.
He gained practical knowledge and soft skills from the workshops, assignments and internship. He also benefited from the lively interactions among classmates, thought-provoking lectures and the diverse SMU community.
