SAF CE Master's Sponsorship Programme
Introduction
The SAF CE Master's Sponsorship Programme is aimed to equip eligible SAF Officers with a Master degree through full-time or part-time study after completing the Command and Staff Course (CSC). SAF Officers who have graduated from Phase 1 of CSC/CSC[E] will be able to apply for any one of the eligible SMU Masters programmes.
We encourage you to apply early so you can spread out Phase 2 of your course.
Admission Requirements
- Recognised bachelor degree issued by a bona fide university
- Acceptable SMU admission test or GMAT scores determined by the respective programmes
- At least 3-5 years' of work experience
- Acceptable admission interview score
- Acceptable essays assessment

For MITB Jan 2027 intake: Course exemption application emails will be sent in early November, and applicants must submit their documents by 30 November. Online matriculation takes place from 16 to 27 November.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
SAF Officers who graduated from Phase 1 of the CSC/CSC[E] will be able to apply for the SAF CE Master’s sponsorship programme.
You have to score a culmulative GPA of 2.5 and above for the 5 CSC or 4 CSC[E] modules.
Enrolled SAF Officers has to complete the master’s degree programme within 3 years, from the day of admission.
Applicants will be informed by their PMCs regarding the award of sponsorship.
